Harry put his hands up apologetically, ‘Merlin, I didn’t mean to start an argument Malfoy. If we’re going to be sharing a room for a year we need to be able to talk without shouting at each other.’
‘Or we could just not talk. I’m only here because I have to be.’ Replied Malfoy turning away from Harry and returning to his trunk.
‘Well, I do apologise for trying to be nice.’

Summary
The garden had live flowers, similar to how they had been when he was young, when his mother fussed over the roses, paid the best of the gardeners to manage them. The smell of rain flowed from the earth freely, and unlike the Manor it didn’t revitalise the metallic smell of old blood that poisoned the ground. The heavy rainfall didn’t unearth bones here, no, as it started to fall harder the ground simply turned to a soft mud.
Draco didn’t move, he could feel his hair growing heavy on his forehead, droplets built in his lashes but he stayed, allowed the rain to fall on him. Maybe a part of him hoping it would wash away the sins, the evil he’d done, the things he’d seen. Maybe he hoped the rain would grant him a second chance, they thought he was dead.. perhaps it would give him a new life. A rebirth.

When Hawks finds himself inexplicably growing closer to Dabi during his time with the League, he must make a choice: to protect the public or save the villain. He picks the latter. Now on the run, they try to build a new life together. One without villains or heroes, good or evil, or unseen hands pulling invisible strings. One where things are simpler. Where they’re happy and free.
Where the biggest, most pressing issue is who’s going to wash the dishes and take out the trash.

Of course, the hero's not fond of the plan whatsoever, but as things progress, he finds himself actually falling for the villain – and maybe even learning things about himself along the way.
Or: Hawks is a shallow, self-absorbed fuckboy who's tasked with a honeypotting mission that winds up changing his life.

Katsuki swears to himself that until he takes his final dying breath, he's going to deny everything he's bore witness to that night. Though as time passes, denial proves to be more difficult as the nagging in his subconscious continues to grow.
