Oh no, that was certainly not what was going on. Izuku shot an incredulous look to his boss. He expected Dynamight to intervene, to clarify this was a misunderstanding, to say ANYTHING. Instead, Bakugo shot him a look back. One that probably said something along the lines of: play along, idiot.
Or: Izuku Midoriya is Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight's personal assistant—messy, broke, and painfully devoted to his job. Unfortunately, his job now includes pretending to be Katsuki Bakugo's boyfriend. That definitely wasn't in the job description!!

Mindjack’s expression twisted into something more thoughtful. His gaze intensified, more discerning. Izuku imagined it was what he looked like when he was focused on one of his projects. “Does anyone know you’re here right now?” Mindjack asked.
Lie. He had to lie. Izuku focused on the word ‘yes’. He would lie. He would. Izuku could feel everything in him pushing back. He opened his mouth. “No,” Izuku said.
“Stay,” Mindjack ordered. He moved swiftly to the end of the alleyway and glanced both ways before returning to Izuku. His next words were matter-of-fact, leaving no room for rebute even if Izuku was able to offer one. “Take off your mask.”

Izuku gets to live out his dreams of being a hero, just not the way he imagined it. As an underground hero, he does all he can to right past wrongs and still maintain some semblance of a personal life. Meanwhile, Hitoshi struggles to escape the villain destiny he seems to have been born into.
With the threat of a war on the horizon and identities revealed- their morals and relationship will be put to the test.

“It’s already a fucking miracle you’re not in juvie while being charged with murder—” Izuku flinches “—you can’t afford to slip up.” Mr. Aizawa’s tone is harsh as they slow, his dark eyes resting heavily on him. “Do you understand?”
Izuku nods, whispering a small, “Sorry.”
Mr. Aizawa glares at him, tugging him along, like he doesn’t believe him. “Stop being sorry and just follow the rules.”
Izuku isn’t going to juvie. They said he’s different – doesn’t matter that he’s killed someone, the police is worried about a quirkless child being around other ‘troubled’ kids.
Now this Mr. Aizawa is stuck with him until his trial, and Izuku’s completely, a hundred percent certain that the man absolutely hates him.
Unbeknownst to them, someone is watching from the shadows...
