Summary
The battletram stops at a gas station to fill up and let the Aquabats stretch their legs. Eaglebones heads into the station with requests to buy a soda for Crash and a bag of candy for Commander. He also grabs a bag of chips for himself and places them on the counter.
“That’ll be 12.50.” The person behind the counter says. Bones perks up; he knows that voice. He looks up and realizes that The Love Vampire is standing right in front of him.
Bones jumps back, his arms going up into a defensive position. The Love Vampire looks up and notices him as well. His eyes go wide, his heart-shaped pupils smaller than Bones has ever seen them. Bones narrows his eyes, “It’s you, Love Vampire.”
The Love Vampire sighs and points to his name tag, “As I said before, my name is Eros.”
“I won’t let you steal my love,” Bones clenches his fists.
Eros sighs again, “I don’t do that on the job, not after I almost got fired. Relax.”
Or
Bones meets an old enemy and realizes that he's not as evil as he seemed. He's actually sort of...romantic?
