Or: A One Piece Fix-it AU where instead of just chucking his vivre card at Luffy and leaving, Ace also makes a vivre card for Luffy. Unfortunately for Ace, Luffy is a chaotic menace who can't stay out of trouble. Ace has a crewmate killer to catch, but he can't seem to get three feet away before Luffy's vivre card bursts into flames and does the weirdest shit imaginable. Needless to say, his revenge quest against Blackbeard is side tracked.

Summary
Luffy runs a careful finger over the skin of the fruit in his palm. He found it today, in the patch of yellow-wilted grass farther into the forest than Rayleigh usually takes their training to. He thinks it's a little weird, that Rayleigh hadn't found it despite scouting the entire island all those months ago for the probable marine intrusion, as if it hid from him. Luffy doesn't know if the guess is true, but he knows Haki, now, as unstable yet as it is, and it was- is really hard to miss. It's like the first star in the night sky. Like a beacon in the dark sea.
He cups it with both hands, like it's suddenly made of glass, his senses mapping how it feels. How it pulses with power, a second heartbeat to his own.
(It's red and uneven. Hot, in the way it's not supposed to be under a tree's shade.
He wonders if his brother looked at this fruit, the Mera Mera no Mi, and thought the same.)

Summary
All it took was one doctor with a death wish to leak a secret. The World Government has a lot of skeletons in its closet, but it's grown careless about them, and now one of those skeletons has reanimated to choke the whole organization to death.
Three hours before Ace's execution is scheduled to take place, Sengoku receives an emergency transmission - Kaido and the Beast Pirates are sieging Egghead Island to seize the Seraphim and Doctor Vegapunk. All the Navy's powerful assets are at Marineford. Those who would control the world can only watch as things violently spin out of control from there.

Damian frowns at him. “No?”
“Real tall guy,” the Joker suddenly pipes up from the holding cell, “white streak in his hair. Kinda looks like Bruce Wayne, if you ask me!”
Damian blinks. “Oh. Well, I do know a Jason that fits that description, but his last name is not Todd.”
“What the hell is it then?”
Damian frowns harder. “Al Ghul.”
And just like that, Bruce’s worldview goes to complete and utter shit.

Or: Jason decides that if someone has to be a monster in this world’s shadows, it might as well be him. This decision might’ve been influenced by the fact that Talia al Ghul decided to spring her son on him and also gaslight everyone into believing that Jason is her eldest child. Also, he kills his pseudo-grandfather and kind of accidentally becomes the new R’as al Ghul, because by now, he’s way too deep in Talia’s con-shit to back out.
…It all goes over surprisingly well.

Summary
A plan came into existence between the four, something so outlandish and yet something that could be plausible. It was an unstated fact that they had lost this fight, but maybe there was a chance to fix things.
OR
The future was as good as dead. To make things right, Naruto and Sasuke go back to try and save their friends and family from suffering the same fates they did originally. In the process, they accidentally bring back the glory of a fallen village.
