Summary
For 1st year med student Dazai Osamu, excellence isn’t a goal — it’s a requirement for being allowed to exist. Raised by his father Mori, Dazai has learned that anything below 100% is failure, freetime is indulgence, and parental affection is something one has to earn. Trying to uphold these impossible standards, he gets confronted with how coping mechanisms meant to maintain control can lead to losing it.
Enter Chuuya Nakahara: sports science major, easygoing, backed by a supportive family, and the last person Dazai wants as a roommate. As their contrasting worlds collide and the pressure on Dazai keeps building he is forced to ask himself: is the price of excellence really worth it?
At 15 he brought back a 97 on a test.
"What did you miss?" was all Mori asked.
"One question,"
"And why did you miss it?"
"I misunderstood—"
"You didn't prepare properly," Mori cut him off. "Careless. Do you want to be a doctor responsible for patients dying because of such mistakes?"
"No, sir."
"Then do better."That night, Dazai stayed up late, re-reading his textbook until the words blurred together, fueled by fear of what would happen if he made another mistake.

The voice sounded tired and out of breath.
It sounded young.
He quickly turned into the alleyway.
He saw an odd silhouette of a person at the back of the alley and it seemed like they haven’t noticed him.
Aizawa quietly made his way closer and his eyes widened at the sight.
It wasn’t one person.
It was two boys. Teenagers.
Or Soukoku sent on a mission to infiltrate UA, Aizawa needs a break.

Here's the thing, Dazai Osamu has Tourette's Syndrome. He has intense coprolalia, copropraxia, echolalia and echopraxia. He's usually good at containing his tics but today was just a bad tic day. The agency however, did not know he had this condition. Today would be an interesting day.

“You heard what I said, shitty Dazai. He doesn’t want you. Not a single one of them does, but I do. So you’re going to fucking stay here, because you don’t get to leave me again.”
“I’m not participating in this weird ass fantasy where we spend the rest of our lives together. I’m not him and you know it,” Dazai bites out, renewing his efforts to get out of his bindings.
Nakahara’s hand shoots out to pin him against the couch and stop his movements. “I know. Of course, I know that. But he owed me, and now he's fucking dead so you’re the one that’s going to pay on that debt. So, I am going to fucking keep you and when the times comes, I’m going to be the one kill you. You don’t have anything waiting for you out there, and you know it.”
Finally, Dazai stills. He tries to formulate a response, but he's not stupid, and there's no denying the truth. Slowly, he nods, and from above him, Nakahara grins.

Summary
Shūji Aizawa was dead. Or, at least that’s what the police and his parents thought. Shota? Not so much. It never made sense to him. The note left on his nightstand didn’t seem to be written by him, but the blood on it.. it was all his.
Just a few miles from their house, they found the same blood stains on the grass—it was his. It should make sense, right?
8 years pass without a trace of his brother, and Shota assumes him to be dead. He couldn’t be more wrong. Because, Dazai Osamu shows up in his life.

Shūji Aizawa became Dazai Osamu when he was fourteen years old, working beneath the newly boss of the port mafia. He had left his family behind without another thought because he just couldn’t seem to die, and this doctor would help him. Right?
When Dazai left the Port Mafia and joined the ADA, he buried the last of Shūji in a ditch, content to never dig it up again.
But, when he and his partner, Kunikida, are given an assignment to infiltrate U.A. and work undercover as teachers, he’s forced to face the demons he tried so desperately to bury.

Summary
Dazai is being sent on a mission to UA. In a world where Yokohama is split off from the rest of Japan due to the secrecy of ability users Dazai must hide his true nature of his past and power. But while it's easy to hide from his fellow classmates and most of the pros a few problems arise. To name them Aizawa and Bakugo seem to have suspicions about him, both feelings for different reasons yet equally as dangerous.
But Oh well in the meantime this whole thing between All Might and Midoriya's quirks is interesting for now.

Summary
With growing tensions as heroes overstep and encroach on Yokohama, the refuge for ability users who have been demonised by the Hero Comission, Dazai and Chuuya are sent on a mission to infiltrate U.A. The information they receive on the mission is vague, but Dazai believes they are being sent to show abilities do not make a person inherently inhuman. The irony isn't lost on either of them.

Or, Dazai decides to screw around and Chuuya questions everything.

“Umm,” Atsushi says, “is it just me or is Dazai-san kind of....weird, sometimes?”
He side-eyes Dazai, still in the kitchen from when he’d abruptly stood from the table, wordlessly abandoned them all, dumped his champagne in the kitchen sink, set a kettle for tea, and is now....chopping vegetables. For soup. Atsushi’s not really over the way he’d answered Atsushi’s question, said it with the flattest, most this-should-be-obvious voice ever, then ignored him.
“Oh don't worry,” Kenji tells him, brightly, “Dazai-san told me it's just a city person thing!”
It isn’t reassuring.

Summary
Small Chuuya getting the comfort and childhood he deserves because that boy fucking needs it, and Dazai caring for him because he’s not an asshole in this. They’re also both still in the mafia in the beginning, just to give a rough timeline.
Works are only loosely connected, with no real plot.

He watches Chuuya fall asleep, slow and soft, in small bits. He is so beautiful, and he is mine. All mine.
I am the first person he smiled at.
I am the first person who said his name.
I am the first person who has held him like this.
He is mine. He will always be mine now, after these things.
Dazai thinks, for a moment, that he might not ever get to feel things, or see the world the way most people do, or find a reason to live. But he can live for this, for him. For this boy. He does not care about birds or parks or trees or people, does not feel all that much when he sees the sunrise or sunset or the stars and the moon. He does not like dogs or children. He does not like the world.
But he likes Chuuya. He likes the way Chuuya looks when he is looking at all these things.

Summary
With the HPSC now requiring the ADA to have an overseeing hero to make arrests or engage in combat of any kind, and none of its current members being eligible, Dazai and Ranpo devise a loophole: have one Ochako Nakahara-Dazai attend a hero school, and become their “overseeing” hero.
Of course, she’s always happy to help her father and her future workplace, but she’s not really sure any hero school is prepared for Yokohama weirdness, which seems to follow all of its residents even outside of the city. She’s also not sure she’ll be able to get a license faster than three years, which both Dazai and Chuuya seem confident she can do. She’ll have to get it as quick as possible though, lest the ADA drive multiple heroes sent to oversee their operations insane.

“Tsushima Shuuji,” Chuuya reads out loud. “A bright, optimistic young man with a pep in his step and a zest for life. Hang on–is this referring to you?”
“Unfortunately,” Dazai laments, sighing dramatically. “You just got away with ‘science nerd’ and ‘soccer player,’ but I’m supposed to be an artist! I hate art! It’s useless!”
“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”
Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss).
