“You uhm-… you‘re sure you wouldn‘t be… embarrassed, being seen with me outside in this?“Or: While he’s clothes shopping with Blitz, a particular item of clothing triggers a hurtful memory for Stolas. Instead of being debilitating however, it merely highlights to him the things he‘s gained.

It should make Blitz sad, to see him like this. He should be crying with him, crying until the tears stop running because the bird he cares about is miserable. But he just can’t.
Of course it hurts to see Stolas hurting, of course it makes his guts twist that he can’t even muster a smile on most days. But Blitz would be lying if he said that he didn’t enjoy having Stolas here, to be able to see him, smell him, be around him.''
