    Cloud looked up to Sephiroth once. The man had been his childhood idol, had inspired him to start ballet in the first place.
    But now all he felt toward him was resentment.

    This next production was supposed to be Cloud's chance to finally outshine the man he once held above all others.
    When he and Sephiroth were both given the lead role, it became his undoing instead, forcing them to dance together.
    Dancing with Sephiroth, Cloud eventually realized, felt just as right as loving him did.

    Probably not canon compliant, and part of my time-travel series. They start out as friends, and Cloud is Seph’s guardian angel. Of course I will get explicit—because really, have I EVER written anything without smut—but not till Seph is old enough.

    Sephiroth sought out Cloud with the expectation of a great battle and the chance to make him finally taste defeat.
    Instead, what he found was Cloud nearly passed out in a bar. It was clear that his drink had been…tampered with.
    Refusing to admit that he was worried, Sephiroth brought Cloud home.

    It took all of his willpower to attempt to remain unaffected by Cloud's mumblings about how "pretty" his hair was (it didn't work).
