Summary
Set after the second season of The Rings of Power. After the sack of Eregion and her devastating fight with Sauron, Galadriel is searching for hope. She seeks Elrond's counsel regarding a dangerous new plan, one that takes advantage of her connection to Sauron. What answers will she find? And how far will she go to help her people?

Summary
Canon divergence from 1x07. This follows their journey as Sauron struggles to unmake himself from the dark legacy Morgoth left upon him. Bound by past wounds and an uncertain future, they must confront their shared fates, questioning whether true redemption and peace can ever be achieved between light and shadow.

“I think you should let me die, Galadriel.” He continued, even as her eyes widened in outrage and her mouth opened to stop his words. “Perhaps Manwë will find mercy for what Morgoth has left of me.” That, he knew, was unlikely.
She stopped short. Her jaw remained open. Perhaps, in another life, free of the ruined stains Morgoth had left on him, he would have found that endearing. For now, Sauron was tired. And scared of the judgment that awaited him. All he had ever wanted was order and a stable world.
Her voice was hard. “You’re a servant of Morgoth?”
“I was /the/ servant of Morgoth,” he replied.
