Summary
Kris is a person who chooses actions over words. Ralsei knows that - as did pretty much everyone else who has met them. Words were reserved for serious situations or well-timed jokes. Mostly the latter.
So when Kris suddenly swung the door to his room open, disregarded his pleasantly surprised greeting and pulled him into a hug, Ralsei was only shell-shocked for about three seconds.
