Summary
Merlin sets off to Ealdor using the excuse of visiting her mother, hiding the true reason behind her trip to herself. However when Arthur and the knights tag along (totally because they have business in that area of the kingdom and NOT because they're worried about Merlin traveling by herself) things get complicated. Merlin doesn't wish to tell them about the real reason she's going to Ealdor, shame of falling to societies expectations of her keeping her mouth sealed tightly. However when the truth gets revealed how will Arthur react to potentially losing his Merlin to those very same expectations? Will he break through his own societal pressures to keep her? Or simply watch her go?

Hearing the sound behind him, Butcher turns to him as Hughie finally wriggles and gets comfortable under the blanket. Hughie has no idea what he looked like at that moment, but it was most likely something similar to a burrito, all covered up with not much to move.
Butcher pulls an incredulous face, like he can't believe the atrocity he's seeing in front of him. "Hughie, you can't be serious, lad. Grow some hair on your chest and take the cold like a normal man. It ain't even that cold."
Now it's Hughie's turn to make a face of disbelief at Butcher. "You have to be kidding. It's fucking freezing in here, and don't tell me you're not feeling it! You at least had the sense to wear a jumper and gloves, but you're wearing your trench coat and nothing else. I don't know how you're not a popsicle by now."

“It’s Robby.” Dennis says, unable to hide the bit of resentment in his voice. “Everyone thinks they’re a big girl until he—“ Dennis realizes how bad this sounds, looking back at his computer and going back to charting. “Sorry.”
Hastings blinks, “I’m sorry, you weren’t included in this conversation.”
He just looks at her, then gestures to the hospital. “Next time you want to talk about going home with my Attending, try to keep it down. Or do it somewhere else.” Dennis says, snarky if he must admit, leaving to go find his wandering med students.
