Louis shoved Armand a little harder against the wall. Armand didn’t do anything to stop him. “You will go into the spare bedroom down the hall from ours,” Louis said slowly. His words surprised Armand. He thought Louis was going to tell him to leave.
“Louis I–”
“You will not talk,” Louis interrupted, “you will not think or do anything but sit there. You will stay there until I decide to come talk to you.” He grabbed Armand’s jaw. “Do you understand me?”
Armand nodded.
Louis let go of him and looked at him for a few seconds. He felt the rage and the love and the hate all at once. He turned and walked out of the room, leaving Armand standing by the crumbling wall.
