Summary
Buffy beats up Angel after learning that he’s lied to her for years.
Angel and Buffy had an Eternal Love. The Slayer never really examines that great truth, never really has the time. But after Sunnydale collapsed, taking her staunchest ally with it, Buffy finally has time to think, to deal, to accept. And when a memory spell brings back a twenty-four hour period that her perfect Angel stole from her, she bravely faces up to the truth about her Eternal Love. Six months after the Hellmouth closed, a furious Buffy storms into Wolfram and Hart to get back some of her own, never knowing how literal that can be.

Spike returns a little earlier to find his gem. The mayor decides that shooting Angel with a poison, which only Slayer blood can cure, is simply too risky for his Faith. And suddenly, Buffy finds herself locked up in a strange underground room in the company of her mortal enemy and the vampire who just broke her heart. But maybe it isn’t all bad. Maybe, this way, Angel will see that this idea about leaving for her own good is bad. Right? Spike, he just wants to get out, but if that’s out of the question, well then at least he’s going to try to have some fun!

Spike is unable to stay away, only he's fighting his own inner battles he doesn't want to burden her with. Impersonating a robot for a few days should be easy, right?
