Summary
The World had ended. All that remained of the Universe was a single bookshop, who was quite concerned about the whole affair.

Summary
After the Second Coming fails to bring about the end of the world, Aziraphale and Crowley are abruptly dumped back on Earth with no miracles, no instructions, and far too much unresolved tension. Also, apparently, a lifespan.
What follows is twenty-four hours of disastrous flirting, horny panic, bad decision-making, and the increasingly undeniable realization that they’re finally allowed to have each other. If they could just figure out how to talk like actual adults — and perhaps come up with a plan before everything becomes catastrophically emotional — this would probably be easy.

Summary
A universe without Heaven or Hell or angels or demons. A universe without Her. A universe, it was implied, that operated solely upon the interactions of physical forces and random chance.
Yet somehow also resulted in the same stars, the same planets, the same infinitely maddening but delightful tribalistic predatory ground apes, who somehow developed art, science, wine, and bookshops, and oh yes, Free Will. A property which by definition transcended the interactions of physical forces and random chance.
Well, if anybody could pull that off, it would be Her.
Aziraphale and Crowley find themselves in a brand-new universe, without Heaven or Hell, without miracles, without even physical corporations.
But at the same time, they have everything they ever wanted.
