Summary
For years, Pidge has dreamed of returning home. The smell of her mother's cooking, an Earthen sunset dancing across the sky, the feeling of her dog's fur under her fingertips. But now that her feet are finally planted on the ground, she's starting to realize that her dreams were exactly that- dreams. Earth may have been her home once, but now it feels as foreign as any planet she's ever visited. With this dysphoria settling into her veins, her family falling into shambles, a romance blooming and wilting and blooming again, and the trauma of the war finally starting to set in, it feels impossible to push her feelings aside and see the war through to the end.
But Earth is relying on her, so what choice does she have?

Pidge tosses him a glare. He cares about her? After what HE DID? He might as well kill her, too. However, frost was claiming her. His fingers felt stiff against the cold, her teeth clattering. Reluctantly, she goes to his side. Not happy in the slightest. Once, she is close. Keith pulls her close to him so she can get warm.
She yelps and curses him under her breath.

Peter didn't know what would happen when he put on the gauntlet--staring the Mad Titan down.

or: Peter was the one that used the Gauntlet and the effects were world changing. Now, Peter is a immortal, the Guardian of the Stones--keeping them safe through the passage of time, starting from the beginning.
He was there when the planets started to form, and watched as civilizations grew. He got use to his new task, keeping a eye on the stones as they influenced the world around them. He had part of the stones with him, this was true--and he had long since master the use of them.
However, the stones still needed to be out in the cosmos so he was more connected to the spirit of them, and it marked him. Now, he knew when the a wielder of a Stone threatened to unbalance everything and would take it away.
He lived like this for millennia, unchanged--until the year of 2010 on planet Earth.
