Summary
Eddie Diaz was a very secretive person, the rest of the 118 knew it from the moment they met him. He was reluctant to tell them anything about his personal life, with the slight leeway he allowed with his son.
Obviously, they had attempted to dig for more information at first, but after almost 2 years of vague responses, they had given up. They resolved that they would never receive a full debrief on the life of Eddie Diaz.
That is, until a call goes bad and suddenly Bobby has to call the husband nobody knew he had to come visit him in hospital.
There were a lot more questions to answer than before.

Summary
It was getting worse. It was getting worse, and he couldn’t tell anyone. It’s never been bad enough to affect his work, but it was still there. Looming, creeping in the background, threatening to ruin his life. Taunting him for something he had no control over. He couldn’t tell anyone. He loved the 118—his family—but that meant he knew them too well. They would treat him like he’s damaged.

Summary
When Tommy leaves Buck outside the restaurant after their first date, neither of them could have imagined what happened next. Neither could Eddie, still inside the restaurant and unaware that it was a date.
Unfortunately for Buck, his introduction to the physical aspects of being bisexual is violently brutal rather than gentle and loving when he's assaulted in the dark lonely night.
How will Eddie and Tommy react when they learn what happened - and will Buck be able to move forward from the experience?

“Eddie,” Buck interrupts. “It’s- it’s okay. I just went out drinking. It’s fine.”
“Drinking alone?”
“Yeah,” he stammers. “Yeah, alone.”
“Hey listen, why don’t you come over tonight? We can do a movie night. And… I have something to tell you.”
“I’m sorry, Eddie,” Buck murmurs, feeling the tears welling up again. “I don’t think I can tonight.”
“Hey, wait Buck-”
“I’ll see you tomorrow.”
