Summary
Without Neuvillette at the helm of Fotaine's justice system the nation can no longer take pride in their deliverance of Justice. Anarchy thrives with the dismissal of the false archon and the lack of the chief iudex allows its flourishing.
Neuvillette himself arrives at the Fortress of Meropide, and not for a spot of tea. After peaking the interest of the handsome wardon, the two come to an "agreement" where Wriothesley will teach Neuvillette how to survive here, in exchange for... "other" favours.
" The reputation of Fontaine as the nation of Justice had long since been discarded. No longer did the honest man prevail, but now the one who could afford to silence the other. Wriothesley recognised the inherent flaws of the criminal justic system, but simultaneously his inability to rectify them. When even the archon was a fraud, tossed out in an outrage. Who could you trust? Who could you complain to? Who could you pray to for salvation?
For Fontaine had no God.

"You've been uh, acting awful strange recently. Makes me think there's something you've been hidin' from me." Suddenly the dreamed accusation became dreaded reality.
Lucy felt her heart catch in her throat.
This was it. Lucy gulped. Air once more felt scarce. What would she do? Could she, could she lie her way out of it? She bit her lip painfully to stop herself from crying. But then it hit her. He didn't know just yet. Atleast she didn't think he did. Otherwise he would have disposed of her already. He knew something was up just not what. She had the ability to diffuse the situation. She couldn't say "nothing" as that would be a blatant lie. So instead she reached for the first thing that came to mind:
"I have a crush on you."
What if season 1 ended with Lucy securing cold fusion? How would this build tension and lead to a subsequent sense of betrayal with the ghoul? That is what this fic aims to explore.

Summary
After running out of suppressants Lance turns to an Altean medicine cabinet to try and quell his true secondary gender as an Omega. However nothing is ever as simple as it may seem and Lance ends up sick as a result of the medicine he should not have been taking. After being essentially outed as an omega Lance and the team must learn to work around the new dynamic aboard the castle ship.
Meanwhile Keith just wants to prove that he can be the Alpha Lance deserves.
