Crow attracts strays, but usually not of the animal variety. Due to the urging of his (traitorous) friends, he takes in a scrawny black cat with dark blue eyes. It’s strange, though - this cat, and the way its appearance starts causing Crow to dream of things he knows doesn’t exist - a city cut in half, an unfinished bridge to the sky, and a man with black hair and dark blue eyes.

"Are you alright?"
Yuma pushed himself up by the elbows, giving Astral what Yuma's father had dubbed "the puppy dog eyes". Astral had seen a few of said "puppy dogs" before when trailing Yuma's mother on trips to the local park, and they did not hold a candle to the boy's trembling pout and teary eyes.
"As'al..!!" he whimpered, face scrunching up.
