Summary
Of course, John's personal favorite nights are the ones where Rodney gets into it, where he takes one song and drags it out for an hour or more. Just playing with the notes and rhythm, building patterns and shapes that John can almost see, making them something original and perfect.

Summary
John Sheppard has made a habit out of surviving, but even he’s running out of ways to hide what it’s cost him. After a mission gone wrong leaves John clinging to life, Rodney McKay finds himself keeping vigil for a man who never stays still long enough to be safe.
But recovery has a way of forcing old walls to crumble. Between the deadly silences, the nervous laughter, and the nights when neither of them can sleep, John and Rodney learn what it means to be.***
Or the one where John almost dies (again). Rodney refuses to let go (again). And somewhere between blood loss, flowers, and late-night conversations, they stop pretending.

Summary
Clara's American father is the ambassador to some such territory that Great Britain probably used to own, but she (and Harry’s undying love for her) is the reason John is getting on a flight at 12:30pm, flying across the second largest ocean in the world, and pretending to be in a perfectly happy, healthy relationship with an undoubtedly perfectly coiffed stranger.
See, Clara is not only American (and wealthy to boot), she's also best friends with John’s ex-fiancee. Whom she's placed in the wedding party. As Maid of Honor.
And John just happens to be Best Man.
Bloody brilliant.

Summary
Mycroft’s last minute rescue of Sherlock went largely as planned. He had pulled Sherlock out of that black site prison before any lasting damage could be done. Sherlock seemed eager to re-establish his life in London. Perhaps a bit too eager. Mycroft could arrange for wound care, a haircut and a cleaned and pressed Belstaff, but despite his well-curated reputation for omniscience, he did not know enough to prevent an angry Serbian from obtaining a visa under an assumed name and booking a flight to London.

Lestrade brings his daughter to work. She's a bit of a handful, but, as it turns out, Sherlock's rather good at this.
Albeit in his own, Sherlocky-way.
.......“They’re cute together, aren’t they?” John sighs fondly from besides him. Cute isn’t the word Lestrade would have used. Disturbing, sure.

Summary
An ancient outpost hidden offers salvation from the Wraith, until it starts to break down.
A story of bravery, suspicion, trust and sacrifice for the ones you love.
Caldwell's eyes widened as he stared out the ship's windows, their demise growing ever more real as they were pulled headlong down towards the moon's cratered surface.
"Options?" he shouted.
"Death by impact, or death by explosion," Hermiod answered.
"Those aren't options!"
"Then I don't have any." Hermiod said matter-of-factly. "We are all going to die in approximately eleven minutes."
Caldwell just shut his eyes. Not their best day.

They weren’t going back to Pegasus. Teyla would never see Torren and Kanaan again. Like Teal’c, they were to become prisoners under the Mountain until such times as their loyalty was proven. But though Ronon would kill or die for many of the people here, he had no loyalty to the country that had decided Atlantis was a weapon it wanted for itself.
