Summary
During ballroom dance class at Royal Prep, Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo accidentally grab a pair of enchanted dancing shoes that force them into perfect ballroom choreography. What starts as a normal dance lesson quickly turns into magical chaos as the two are spun, dipped, and twirled dramatically across the ballroom in front of their entire class.
While Sofia and Hugo struggle to stop the enchanted shoes, Princess Amber has the time of her life watching the obvious romantic tension between them, while Prince James becomes increasingly protective and convinced Hugo is not good enough for his sister. As the magical dancing grows more chaotic — and embarrassing — Professor Popov eventually discovers the real problem: Sofia and Hugo accidentally put on advanced enchanted performance shoes. Due to this real life event, Hooty dramatically breaks up with Duo, or he at least tries to, but the conversation somehow leads them into reckoning with what it means to be a fictional character and how the existence of AI plays into that.
