"See it as killing two birds with one stone. You're under time pressure Seba and Asakura will have to make amends in some way to learn from this situation. Having him assist you should be of big help to you, Seba."
_____Shin only wanted to help his friend Heisuke out of trouble. Instead he's "forced" to assisst Seba with his engineering project for a nationwide competition. It doesn't help that the both of them don't think too highly of each other. If all goes well he only needs to help out for two weeks instead of six. If not then...he'll burn that bridge when he gets to it.

Summary
The gods have always harbored a deep hatred for humans, considering them pathetic creatures who only destroy and pollute the planet. Determined to extinguish humanity, the gods fight a great battle, confident of their victory. Well, they win Ragnarok, but they were humiliated by humans. The hatred that the gods felt for these beings only increased, all they wanted to do was kill the fighters and then humanity.
However, two gods give the idea of taking the fighters to be their prizes. Extinguishing humanity and leaving only the fighters alive. Now, these humans must learn to live in this new reality.

…Atsushi was suddenly very aware of the sweat beading on the back of his neck. He had absolutely no clue what to do, so trying his best to be polite, he reached out a shaky hand. You know, for a handshake. That was courteous, right? “Akutagawa? It’s– it’s nice to meet you.” He tried for a smile.
Akutagawa took one look at Atsushi’s outstretched hand, looked back to Atsushi’s face, and scoffed. “I have zero intention of playing house with you, mongrel. Get your hand out of my face.” And he turned around and he sat back down in his chair.
Oh. Okay. Cool. Awesome. That was fine. Atsushi felt something inside him shrivel up and die and fall to the floor, shattering into one million little tiny pieces. “Yeah, okay, sure,” He said, weakly, before retracting his hand as requested, and turning around to power walk out of the room.
...And so began the longest eight weeks of Atsushi’s life.
In order to escape prospects of potential homelessness, college student Nakajima Atsushi is set up with an apartment and roommate courtesy of Dazai Osamu.
Atsushi’s roommate turns out to be the worst person he’s ever met in his entire life.
