This is a serious celebrity club situation. Patrick had to name-drop Fall Out Boy to get in, and most people here were much more famous than the band. He’s shocked at the faces he sees, the- connections he might have access to. But Patrick’s not gonna hook up with some famous stranger to get over Anna, he’s not into that kind of attention. He is, however, becoming more entranced by Pete. His normal antics look almost seductive in Patrick’s fogging brain. What makes the movement of Pete’s tongue so different tonight? Patrick’s not sure. Regardless, his mind is set. Pete is the only name-brand tongue he’s interested in tonight.

Summary
Alex knew it would hurt when he and Lisa broke up long-term. And in 2010, it certainly seemed like that was it. He falls into unhealthy coping mechanisms while on tour with Dirty Work, and people notice that he's not really acting like himself.
When he goes home after tour and starts writing for the next album, he starts to feel better about himself. He reconnects with both who he feels he is, and eventually, Lisa.

Summary
The situation is, admittedly, not completely out of left field. One might have guessed that Awsten’s girlfriend with a history of cheating would eventually cheat on him. But honestly, having it happen right in the middle of a tour before their new album was a curveball and a dick move.
The only mysterious thing about it is that he’s also picked up the habit of avoiding Otto like the plague.
