Deborah’s hand reaches out to trace a soft line down the side of Ava’s cheek and the gesture makes something spasm in her chest. She smiles at the feeling, though it’s technically leaving her devastated. Because, she firmly believes, she’s doing something she’ll be apologizing for in the future.
Taking away precious minutes, days, weeks, months - years? - of a young woman’s life in order to what? Settle the fermented longing in her ancient body that can only be matched by a person who has existed on Earth for a shorter amount of time than Deborah’s relationship to self-loathing? That was one for the memoir. The very memoir she can’t even fathom writing without her. The irony doesn’t escape her. -

Summary
Grace had only ever felt full two times in her life. One was because of vodka, the other was because of Frankie Bergstein. The two didn’t mix well, no matter how hard she tried. And, oddly enough when Grace was full because of Frankie she didn’t want to be full from vodka. But, when she was full of vodka, all she wanted was to be full of Frankie. And, every time Frankie walks away, every time she leaves Grace alone, she wonders if that's all this is for Frankie: something she can easily walk away from like nothing ever happened.
An AU where Grace and Frankie have been having an affair instead of Robert and Sol.
