Like preying on their desire for hatchlings.
Note: The threadfic version of this story is called 'Boreal Baby' on Twitter, I just decided I wanted to tie it to a creature that already exists mythologically for the re-written and edited version here. Hope you enjoy!

I read starting from chapter 6. Before that it's a lot of background information on the OC who is reincarnated as a sparkling. More angst than fluff.
