Many might call Nicole the most selfless of all the Freedom Fighters, dutifully serving Princess Sally, the Acorn Family, and the people of the New Acorn Republic for decades without question and asking nothing in return... So, would it really be so wrong if Nicole did something for herself for a change?
Perhaps, if you were to uncharacteristically disregard how the consequences of your actions will affect the people around you. Part of the price Nicole paid for becoming less of a artifical lifeform and something distinctly more Mobian was that her strengthening emotions made once logical decisions appear far more grey, and the difference between right and wrong is no longer quite so black and white.
