Some days it feels like Ghost is taking his heart with him, carrying it between those hands that hold him down. As the door closes with a quiet click sound and the door handle moves to its original position again, Soap immediately knows that today is one of those days as the tears spring back into his eyes.
or: Ghost only realises how much he is continously hurting Soap after weeks of being with each other. It takes Ghost almost losing Johnny to learn how he should have treated the Beta all along, he does so with a little help of the other Sergeant on their team.
