I'm rewriting to make Piper more of an actual Peacemaker between the Greeks and Romans. Octavian, Reyna, Will, and Nico will be part of the quest as well, and I wanted to focus on working with gods after the Titan War.

New Rome is a decade behind in evolution and structurally failing. Piper McLean is an engineer tasked with going to New Rome before the battle on June 24th to overhaul the city’s infrastructure and leave on the Argo 2 the next day. She finds an unexpected ally in Octavian, the man haunted by his gift, who led the quest to Alaska. Together, they work with the gods and fortify the city. It's a heavy project-focused story, how New Rome's isolation would realistically look, and how working with gods could realistically be.
