He lost something so dear to him. He never loved anything like he loved them. The loss carved his heart out of his chest, and the wound never healed. All he can do it look up, seek something to fill that gap. Something to turn that devotion to. They say grief is like love never expressed.

Mason would, preferably, like to be permitted to make some food in peace. Unfortunately, considering the fact his agent is fond of 'crashing' (really it happens so often they might as well live there) at his house, such a thing is impossible. Oh well. Not that he minds excessively.
