“Suguru~” Satoru’s sing-song voice calls out to him.
Suguru reigns in the long-suffering sigh he wants to let out. No need to encourage his best friend into pestering him even more.“Finally got kicked out of the kitchen by Yuuji?” he quips in reply.
Satoru laughs. “Now, now Suguru. No need to be jealous. Yuuji’s cooking for both of us after all.” He hooks his arm over Suguru’s shoulder. “Anyways, you should be thanking me instead.”
Curiosity piqued, Suguru turns his head to meet Satoru’s own smirking visage. Satoru waves around a piece of paper between his pointer and middle fingers. “An early birthday present.”
In which Suguru should've known better than to accept a gift from Satoru, but maybe this gift ended up giving him exactly what he wanted.

“Hello, Megumi,” she greets. “Who’s this here?” She gives the boy a polite smile.
“Nee-san,” Megumi gives her another nod before turning to face the boy next to him. “This is Itadori; he recently transferred into my class.”
And there it is again. Up close, there’s no mistaking the softness on Megumi's face when her brother looks at Itadori.
The now identified Itadori, gives her a wide smile. “Itadori Yuuji! It’s nice to finally meet you Fushiguro-senpai!”

“Hmm, Fushiguro?” Yuuji mumbles as he stirs awake while keeping his eyes closed as though it’ll allow him to sleep for a few minutes more. “I can feel how hard you’re thinking even while sleeping.”
Megumi is quick to shush him, curling tighter around him as he softly rubs Yuuji’s stomach in an attempt to soothe Yuuji back to sleep. “Don’t worry about it idiot. Go back to sleep.”
“Only if you go back to sleep too,” Yuuji quips back, his eyes still closed.
Megumi only hums back softly in response, neither agreeing or disagreeing.
In which Megumi thinks about a lot of things in the early morning hours, but mainly about Yuuji.

“Kuramochi,” Coach Kataoka warns, voice sharp to remind Kuramochi to behave properly.
“Sorry, sorry,” he chuckles, waving his hand in front of him once his laughter dies down. His shoulders are still shaking as he wipes at the tears in the corners of his eyes, looking at Miyuki with animated eyes and a smug smile. Miyuki pales because if Kuramochi’s cackling like an idiot then that means he’s also put the puzzle pieces together. “So you’re telling me that lover boy over here went into rut because of Sawamura?”
