Summary
Draco shifts his head as he turns to look at Scorpius, his cheek touching the pillow. "Did you know that…" He pauses, his throat convulsing, and it sounds audible in the silence, besides Michael's steady, even breathing from the other bedroom.
Scorpius is staring back at him, in wait of something new to learn, a beautiful and intelligent child. He has Draco's mind. He has Draco's eyes and nose and mouth and hair. He is his. All his. All he has of Michael are his wild curls and the green of his eyes, and sometimes he looks into them and imagines that they aren't Michael's, but someone else's.
Draco leans his head closer, biting the quiver out of his lips before he breathes a laden and shuddering exhale, and he whispers, "You are my star in a big black sky."

Ughh this fic broke me into peices, made me cry like a baby, laugh, smile, hurt, then heal. Honestly the craziest emotional rollercoaster ever.
My heart ached for draco so much I've never felt for him more in a fic before, and his son scorpius💔💔I loooved how warm and caring and protective harry was and how he taught draco to accept love and protection for himself, how he treated scorpius and teddy like they're his own, how he waited for draco until he was ready.

After the Battle, Harry thinks he's left Hogwarts for good, but Minerva insists that all students return for an Eighth Year if they wish to sit for NEWTs in the spring, and Harry needs those NEWTs to go into the Aurors. Draco's just grateful not to be in Azkaban. Or the Manor. He's hoping he can steer clear of Potter this year and grapple with his own problems. Unfortunately for him, Potter appears to be one of those problems. And that's not even addressing the fact that Potter's got serious issues of his own, which Draco realises as he's forced to share an Eighth Year dormitory room and several classes with the Gryffindor Git. If only they can make it through the year without killing each other, it should be all right, shouldn't it?

oh my god this fic. Where do I even begin to start on how much I loved it- the writing, the characters, the setting, the plot, the reality of life post war. It was just soso beautiful and I'm going to have terrible post fic depression missing this story and the characters.
I really loved how much Harry and Draco came to mean to eachother, their dynamic was just so on point and fun!
I loved the dynamic between Draco and his friends and how close they all are, how everyone had their partner in this story it was so lovely to see love prevailing (and made me feel more single than ever) -
