Summary
After the death of Avatar Aang, the world exists in a perpetual state of tension. With no Avatar to protect and guide them the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom fear that the Fire Nation will slide back into their old ways and take advantage of the Avatar's absence. When these tensions between the Southern Water Tribe and the Fire Nation begin to rise after an incident between the two nations, Zuko and Azula must scramble to find a way to mend these bad feelings before they escalate into dangerous territories.

However, it is now all that she has.
As a soldier, Link is revered. She progresses quickly under the pretense that she is a man, and her disguise is good enough to fool even the king, so long as she dare not speak. Eventually, she is assigned to protect Princess Zelda as her personal knight, who is also fooled (as far as she can tell).
Link would like to keep it that way, as well, if only she could stop the ache in her heart. The one that asks for more, more, more. The one that screams yes, yes, yes whenever she gets close to the princess. The one that’s going to get her killed. All for love, though she thought she'd never love again.

It's the last year of middle school, high school entrance exams loom on the horizon... and a new problem has emerged! Specifically, Mahiro's lack of legal documentation. Unlike in middle school, Mihari and Chitose don't have the connections needed to get Mahiro into the entrance exams for the high school without proper ID. While nobody's happy when this fact is discovered, Mahiro least of all perhaps, it does provide a certain someone with the motivation to overcome their fears and step out of their comfort zone.
