“We interrupt this program to bring you an urgent news report! A large-scale terrorist attack has just happened in Otheon! Just a few minutes ago a series of explosions went off in the second most populated city of Otheon, spanning several blocks. The explosions set off a strange gas that amplified the quirks of citizens, until their own quirks killed them. A group called Humarise is taking credit for the attack.”

“Humarise?” Izuku asked.

“I’ve heard of them,” Dad said. “They’re bad news.”

“The total number of deaths is unknown, but we already have over five hundred confirmed kills, including seventeen pro heroes. Humarise put a statement out just a moment ago, that this is just a test of their capabilities and will be spreading their ‘trigger bombs’ in large cities all over the world.”

He leaned down, his eyes sharp. “Midoriya, I like you. A lot. More than I think I’ve ever really liked anyone. I want to go on a date with you.”

Time slowed down.

Did Izuku want to date anyone at all? He’d never really given thought to being in a romantic relationship before. Sure, he’d had passing fancys, but...

Was it so different from being friends with someone? It was, wasn’t it? Being someone’s boyfriend meant going on dates, doing things like holding hands and eating crepes together. Was that something he wanted to do? Something he wanted to do with Todoroki?

Todoroki wasn’t the type to be forward with his feelings. To do something this bold meant he’d given it a lot of thought. He was so brave! Izuku would have never had the guts to come out and just ask someone out like this. Why was Todoroki so much cooler than he was? If Todoroki was willing to put himself out there like this, then Izuku should have the decency to really consider him. Ask to have some time to think about this, and give a proper response in no less than three days.

He opened his mouth to say that.

“Okay,” he said instead. “I’d love to go out.”

“Yeah, a bizarro version of Musutafu,” Kirishima said. “It’s like those old comic books. It’s almost an alternate universe or something.”

Shouto perked up at the words. “You know what, I think that might be correct. There’s a theory that says every choice you make results in a whole new universe. Small changes have ripple effects that change the course of an entire universe. This one must be something that happened a long time ago that resulted in... this. Something during the war, probably. It’s as if it just kept going.”

Izuku, Ochako, Katsuki, Shouto, and Eijirou are sucked through a strange portal to an alternate timeline. Everything here is terrible and wrong. The war never ended. Instead of heroes vs villains, it's the stronghold city of 'Eden' and the self-proclaimed 'Serpents' trying to wake the population of the ruined city up to Eden's crimes against them.

In this world, it wasn't Shigaraki Tomura that inherited All for One, but Midoriya Izuku.

A clearing opened up between the trees. Eijirou crouched down, hiding behind a mighty oak, searching for the singer.

“Da da daa...”

In the clearing was an open natural spring. The water glittered in the setting sun, reflecting the pinks and golds back. Reflections of fireflies danced across the surface of the water. Algae and lily pads floated across the spring. Eijirou peeked around his tree to look more.

Across the pond sat his siren.

The most enchanting man Eijirou had ever seen was lounging in the water. The top half of him stuck out, leaning against a rock. His blond hair was wet and clung to his face. His pale skin seemed to glow in the low light. He reached a hand out of the water and pushed the hair from his face.

Summary

In 1865, a young Alice spotted a late white rabbit running towards a most peculiar rabbit hole.
The next day, people began to forget she even existed. Not even photos remembered her face.
Several centuries later, a young Midoriya Izuku spotted the same late white rabbit running towards another peculiar rabbit hole.
Except he managed to catch the rabbit, sparking the start of a strange friendship.
Thus Izuku grew up knowing well about Wonderland, a magical place where the impossible was very much possible and Wonder flowed freely. A mystical place where cats leave grins hanging in the air, Time is a person, and your head is always at risk of getting cut off by a certain queen of the land. Yet he never had to worry about that last part, for he wasn't planning on going down anytime soon. After all, going down the rabbit hole was quite the risk.
So it was just his luck he ended up falling down it during his first year at UA, along with both his crushes.
All they have to do now is find the White Rabbit, get back home, and stay sane enough not to meet Alice's fate. A simple task, really.
Too bad nothing is simple down in Wonderland.

Izuku naively assumes nothing of it and goes to grab the dangling item, thinking he’ll simply pull it out of its wedged position between the locker rim and the door.

Taking a deep breath, Izuku says, "Shouto, I - I promise I'm not trying to make fun of you here. I'm really not, but - but that absolutely, one hundred percent does not mean what you think it does."

Shouto blinks at him again, so stupidly pretty Izuku kind of hates him for it.

"It doesn't?"

"Friends with benefits means that you're friends, yes - but the benefits part suggests that the friends are messing around with each other. It implies that they're hooking up."

Shouto stares.

Steeling himself, Izuku says, "Like, that's the benefit, Shou. It's sex."

He stares, and stares, and stares, the wheels behind his eyes turning impossibly slowly, and when it finally seems to sink in, when he finally looks like he understands the enormity of what he has told the media is happening between him and Izuku, he sinks back into the couch.

"…ah. I see."

Then, a moment later, he follows this assessment up with a resigned, quiet, "Fuck."

Izuku snorts out a laugh and pats his shoulder.

"Yeah," he agrees. "Fuck."
Todoroki accidentally tells the rest of Japan that he and Midoriya are having sex. It's not the worst thing Izuku's ever experienced.

Shouto lowers his gaze. “The world is so strange right now, it’s like people are either turning into amoral assholes or demonstrating incredible acts of selflessness.” He looks back up, smiling softly, and something expands in Izuku’s chest. “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised which category you fall into.”
Oh, god. He is so far gone over this man, it’s ridiculous.
“Haaahh,” he says, a very cogent response.
“You’re amazing, Izuku.” Shouto sighs and releases one of his hands in order to push a lock of red hair out of his face. “At least promise you’ll let me help however I can as long as I’m staying here.”
Izuku drags his teeth over his lip. Shouto’s voice has always had an effect on him, but in person, after getting to know him, it’s taken to an absurd extreme. He swallows, wills himself to recall how speech works. This isn’t really any different than talking on the phone, even if Shouto is unfairly attractive up close.
“Okay,” he says — he can be funny, he can be charming. “Then you can help me eat all this food I made before you arrived.”
