The witchers are about to lose one of their own and only Jaskier can help them. But that's a problem... Following the events in "Rare species" (S01E06), Geralt and Jaskier have parted ways—and not amicably. Eskel and Lambert nonetheless decide to ask him for a favor. - Episode fix-it (eventually) for Geralt's and Jaskier's fight! Heavy on the hurt/comfort side of things... :)

Summary
Jaskier is a genie that has been “freed” from his “bottle” which is bits and pieces of his lute. He isn’t truly free but enough to not actually care about being a genie. He's been traveling the world doing whatever. Upon meeting Geralt, he pretends to be a normal bard as he does with everyone but every now and then when Geralt wants something it just seems to be easier to get it. Sometimes when it’s a close call with a monster, any healing supplies are always nearby, sometimes they always have the right amount of coin, sometimes Jaskier just knows exactly what is needed for any given situation
Sometimes Jaskier and Geralt split paths and Geralt notices how his luck seems to better when his little strange bard is around.
I swear it gets so much better the further in you get

Summary
Regulus has always known he's destined to drown. He feels it deep in his chest, past his rib cage, nestled somewhere behind his organs. He feels it in his arm when his mother squeezes it a little harder than a mother should. He felt it, the water rising in his throat, when his brother slipped out the window and into the night. He often wonders if it'd be easier to just let himself sink.
