Life is unpredictable, and David wished he had the confidence to face it head-on like the heroes in his books. Instead, he lives life as a hermit, hiding from the unfamiliar and unknown. It isn't till after a chance encounter that his wish comes true in the form of Linna, the flamingo kwami of compassion. Suddenly, David is catapulted into a world of heroes and villains, defending Paris while keeping his identity a secret.
Fueled by his desire to help others, David learns to face anything life throws his way - even if that includes personal vendettas, first-time crushes, and the decision between the life he's always known or true happiness. Eventually, one has to make a choice, and David hopes he makes the right one.

In my past life, I was a relatively normal guy. A college freshman with loving parents, good friends, and a little sister obsessed with My Little Pony. The "weirdest" part of my routine was watching the show with her and admitting I secretly enjoyed it.
But enjoying the show from the couch is one thing; waking up inside it is another.
After dying, I opened my eyes in a new body: a white-coated alicorn with a mane as black as night and silver eyes. A freaking male alicorn. With a horn, massive wings, and all the heavy baggage that comes with them. The worst part? I landed right in time for the start of season one. I know this script, and I flat-out refuse to follow it. Being the only male alicorn in Equestria means unwanted attention and the absolute obligation to be dragged into a world-saving plot every other week. No thanks. So the plan is simple: stay far, far away from the Mane Six, Canterlot, and anything that smells like danger. This world is huge, full of magic and unexplored places. I'll pave my own path in peace and absolute anonymity.
...Surviving on my own while avoiding the main plot shouldn't be that hard. Right?

Aeschyne, Shame Incarnate, is the daughter of Prometheus. By stealing fire, the Titan widowed her mother, orphaned her brother, and destroyed the Golden Age. To think that Prometheus wages war against Olympus, the Gods who took in his abandoned family. To think he wants a world without Gods, a world of anarchy. And so, Aeschyne shall do unto Prometheus as the Gods had done to their Titan foreparents: scatter him across Tartarus.
Prometheus must stay on the mountain. The Agent of Change must be fought. And so, he must vanquish his daughter, Shame, every night. Mortals do not need Shame. Prometheus does not need to care. But the more nights pass, the more Prometheus wonders: was there nothing else he could have done for Honour, the Goddess his daughter was supposed to be?
