Summary
Castiel is heading home from his shop after a bad day, and to top it all off, it's raining. He's hungry and tired, and doesn't notice the dog that races out in front of him until it's too late. Castiel trips and falls to the ground, getting up just as the dog gets hit by a car. When checking on the dog, Castiel realizes, this isn't a dog; it's a familiar. And, Castiel just so happens to be a witch with a soft heart, so he takes him in to help heal him. Over time, he starts to gain the familiar--Dean's-- trust.
