Summary
It starts as salt in the air and song in his blood, and then a voice calling him. Naruto's not one to shy away from anything so he follows the voice because their mission is over and they are returning to Konoha tomorrow.

Summary
It is doubtlessly true that Shikamaru Nara is excessively lazy. However, it is also true that he is extremely devoted to those who have earned it.
Despite knowing this fact, it's not until he's managed to land himself in the middle of leading the reconstruction of their city that Shikamaru realizes just what lengths he's willing to go for Naruto's heart.
But exhausting as it is, he finds he doesn't mind— especially if it lets him finally find the strength he needs confess his feelings for the other man.

Summary
As a final stand in a war they never stood a chance of winning, Uzumaki Naruto chooses to use a forbidden blood seal to rip through the fabric of space and time itself rather than admit defeat. Sasuke sighs, immediately giving up on trying to make sense of anything that comes out of Naruto’s mouth. “Of-fucking-course.”
