This story is a crossover between Twilight and H2O. Also, H2O is more of a background story rather than the main plot. I modified some details and history about the mermaids to fit into my not-so-fairy tale-like concept that everything has a price and method. But you will see. They tucked the memory of a little girl radiating sunshine into the farthest corners of their mind, where it didn't hurt so much. Transcending wasn't something you survived.
