Silence.
….Is all Matt remembers before forcefully being woken up by the feeling of hands groping his clothes.
“This idiot has nothing. Just a stick. Not even an ID or something”
“This is sad.”
Without getting up, he hears clothing shuffling, and then footsteps receding from where he was laid. As they get a decent distance away, Matt tries to get up with a groan. He makes it onto his feet, before stumbling into a wall with a heavy thud. With his back to the wall, he slides back down to the pavement, legs stretched out in front of him. He tries to assess his surroundings.
He was in an alleyway. Somewhere in New York? No, there was salt in the air. Somewhere near the ocean.
He could feel his socks getting soaked through his shoes, and his hair sticking to his forehead. Great, he had been rained on. In a strange city. With no idea how to get home. And no money.

Summary
Jack and Maddie Fenton have tried and failed to exorcise the powerful spirit inhabiting the body of their son. To make matters worse, he doesn't even believe he's possessed, and no amount of evidence can persuade him to accept reality. So, they do what any good parent would- they do their best to keep him safe and comfortable while they continue their search for a cure.
If that means keeping him locked down under 24-hour surveillance in an ecto-containment unit while they do that, then... well, it doesn't feel great, but he's their baby boy. And what else can they do?
Until they maybe, kind of, -accidentally- end up in maximum security prison for crimes against metahumanity, and then someone else has to take care of their son without them.
The good news is that the Justice League has a specialist.
The bad news is that Danny can't be cured.
The reason why is a matter of debate.

Summary
What if Gotham's newest "monster" was actually a dying child?
After escaping years of torture at the hands of the Guys in White, Danny Fenton-now known only as Phantom-arrives in Gotham broken, blind, and barely holding himself together. The world believes he destroyed Amity Park and murdered his family, and Batman is determined to stop the dangerous ecto-entity before more people die.
But Batman only sees a threat.
Jason Todd sees the truth.
When Red Hood finds the terrified ghost boy bleeding out in an alley, he recognizes the signs immediately: the scars, the fear, the way Danny flinches like he's waiting to be hurt again. Jason knows what it means to survive death and come back wrong, and he refuses to let Gotham turn this child into another victim.
Now, with Batman hunting Phantom and the truth buried beneath government lies, Jason is prepared to protect Danny at any cost-even if it means going against the Bat-Family itself.

Summary
Alfred, godfather to Danny Fenton, ends up needing to take in the boy after his parents die in a lab accident. He has a simple request of the world's most paranoid family: don't investigate his godson.
However, there is something seriously off about the kid who doesn't seem bothered by his parents' deaths whatsoever. Not sad. Not vindictive. Uncaring. All while odd things keep happening around him. Things he says border on nonsensical.
They have no idea what's up with Danny Fenton… but Alfred said to trust in him.
