Summary
Someone was watching him. Not with the casual glance of a passerby, but with the steady, unblinking fixation of a hunter. Or a lunatic.
Alastor is perfectly content spending his evening in Nevada emptying the pockets of pretentious network executives. He is less prepared for the stuttering, mismatched-eyed production assistant from Chicago who cornered him at the bar with a silver tongue and a terrifying amount of reverence.
But when a stroll down dark alleyways reveal that the bumbling fanboy is a creature of easy, calculating violence, Alastor finds his iron-clad control melting into a dangerous, unprecedented distraction. After all, it's not every day a radio presenter finds someone who listens to the subtext of his broadcasts quite so... thoroughly.

Summary
Murder Media Au! Female Vincent/male Alastor. It is 1940’s New Orleans, and it is a hard life for a widowed Mrs Victoria ‘Vicky’ Whittman – too old to be remarried or even to be a mother finds herself with her husband’s debts and failing boarding house with very few ‘respectable’ occupants.
She just wanted to cook – her passion was in creating delicious food, to be even dream to be as influential as Ruth Berolzheimer.
Her mundane life of barely keeping above water and with loan sharks circling is turned on it is head with the handsome creole man by the name of Alastor Decuir had decided to rent from her. It has been a long time since she has even had the attention of a man, let alone a charming one such as Alastor finds herself desperate for his validation and starts seeing the man beyond the skin.
But the other is not all his charm and smiles, he is a ruthless killer and cannibal.
But perhaps Victoria could live with that, even perhaps enjoy the others past-times too?
Love will find a way!

Vincent balled his hands into fists. “You son of a bitch, I’ll— I’ll scream!”
“Oh, I do hope so.” As Vincent opened his mouth to protest, a thick wad of cloth was stuffed inside. “But try not to be too loud, hmm? Wouldn’t want to disturb the neighbors.”
Vincent choked as he heard the drop of a needle and the familiar opening static of one of his records. He screamed into the gag, but whatever it was made of, it muffled him quite a lot. A slender finger traced itself across his jaw. “You’ve been rather amusing, Mr. Whittman. I think I’ll take my time with you.”
