Growing up homeless with a Blood Quirk gives Izuku more sorrow than most people would be able to handle. For Izuku, it's just a normal state of being. However, after an encounter with five thugs harassing a lone girl, things change for Izuku. It's either prison and a slow, agonizing death. Or become a ward of UA and attend the school as a student. With no other option, Izuku jumps at the chance to become their own person. To become real. To become something more.

It was basically programmed in him. The only time he felt like he could breathe is when he was with his family by anything but blood.So when one night he let's himself be taken in the police station and meets one of the only hero he respects, gets an offer to restart, has an encounter with a heterochromic boy who he does *not* have a crush on, what does he do?
Or: Aizawa just wants his problem child to be safe, Shouto is gay, Katsuki misses Izuku and Izuku likes knifes.
