The man regards him with disdain, running a clinical gaze up and down his body. Percival feels the futile urge to cover up.
“Newt and his tastes,” the man mutters. “Bring him in.”
They leave the room before Percival can hear the guard's response, and he's left alone again. He jerks his cuffs , firmer than before, but they stay stubbornly attached to the bed frame. The door opens for the third time and before Percival can open his mouth, his senses get inundated by the sweetest scent he’s ever smelled.
A boy is guided into the room by guards, hands bound behind his back, eyes glassy, and Percival realizes with a start that the boy’s in heat.
