    Regulus Black, known among muggle mob and black market contacts as Mr. White, secretly lived through the First War in the 1970s and 1980s. He discovers that Harry Potter is the only known alchemist of this century, and takes him in. First he provides simple guidance and financial stability, but then reaches out to his allies and makes introductions so that Harry can be truly safe.

    POV Harry, where he learns chemistry and materials manufacturing rather than learning his magic the usual way.
