Summary
When Stiles left Beacon Hills after high school graduation he had no idea when he'd come back, he only knew that whenever he did it would be far too soon for his liking.
Sure enough when he gets the summons the last thing he really wants to do is actually go back. But sometimes the only way to keep moving forward is to take a step or two back and see what can be salvaged and sometimes you have to accept the inevitable that not everything can be.
(aka a steter slow burn in three parts because some of the best things really are worth the wait)

Summary
In the aftermath of the Nogitsune, Stiles is on the edges of the Pack – no longer trusted, and experiencing effects that no one could have suspected. Aid comes from an unexpected source, with Chris Argent and Peter Hale seeming to not only understand but want to help him adjust to the new person he has become – a person with darkness on his mind, and a desire to use what the Nogitsune left behind for something good. They decide they need to carve out a path of their own, becoming closer along the way in a manner that Stiles could never have imagined or hoped for as they make a new beginning for the three of them.

Stiles held himself tightly, probably trying to preserve heat. The cold blood made his clothes hold together against his skin and Derek wanted nothing more than to hold him, and then he looked down at his hands to see red.
He was covered in it.
And people were all laughing- they were all laughing at him.
Derek had to hold back his desire to kill and murder and torture and- His beloved needed him. He could avenge him later.
Or; Nobody believes loser Stiles has a boyfriend. Said boyfriend gets really angry when somebody posts a mean prank online. Said angry boyfriend just so happens to be a creature of the night.
Revenge ensues.
