    Summary

The door slides open and a wall of simmering spices brings Anakin to his knees.

A deep snarl rumbles from the back, darkened corner of the bedroom. “Omega?” The question proceeds a figure darting forth, hauling Anakin upright by the collar and inside his den. And then promptly shoves Anakin against the now closed door. “Anakin?”

His upper lip pulls back at the hulking creature holding him in place. “Stupid Alpha.” He finally lets the reoccurring thought have voice to said stupid alpha.

A flash of fire flints across Obi-Wan’s eyes, navy to icy blue before his pupils dilate once more and steals away the coloring. His scent spikes from toasted spices to smoky incense. “Stupid Omega.”

Anakin snaps his teeth but leans against the wall. A shiver races down his spine when a forearm presses firmly on his clavicle. “Yeah. Well. You should learn to talk to me.”

A warm puff tickles his throat where Obi-Wan noses against his scent gland. “Have I not tried, dearest?” The words stick like syrup as Obi-Wan tries to control the Alpha from devouring a familiar, willing Omega on sight. “You answered the call. Are you not my Omega?”

    Summary

As the Republic falls, Anakin’s only thought is to save Obi-Wan, who’s one concern is saving Anakin from himself.

    ****
The fires over Coruscant burned bright. Ashes swirled in the breeze, the galaxy’s hope and soul laid broken at his feet.

Instead of grieving the loss of civilization as he knew it, for the hundreds of Jedi he betrayed, the star systems that would fall for pledging their allegiance to the Separatists, or the death of democracy at the hands of the Chancellor, Anakin’s ribs cracked open for one man: Obi-Wan.

    Summary

It was two years on from returning Leia to her adoptive parents on Alderaan, and it wasn't that Obi-Wan didn't think he deserved to be haunted by his former Padawan; he knew he very much did. But at least all his previous visions had had the decency to stay outside. And silent.

Now Obi-Wan has an apparition of Darth Vader showing up in his home on Tatooine, standing over him in his kitchen, and sitting down with him at mealtimes. And, to make matters worse, he keeps saying the oddest things.

Things like, "I'm sorry," and "I killed Emperor Palpatine," and "I handed the Imperial government over to Bail Organa in exchange for your address."

Worst of all: "I love you, Obi-Wan."

    Crazy old wizard, indeed.
