Dazai runs out of the room, sprinting down through the hallway before running back into its car. Its mind wasn't usually blank but it was then. The only thoughts it could think about were about either burning itself with hot water all over its body or burning the house down and letting itself be trapped in it. Frantically, it drove home, parked the car, ran up several floors before reaching its apartment. It opened the door immediately and shut it. The lights were off, and the curtains were drawn. A perfect environment to commit suicide.
Maybe then it'll finally be happy.OR
Dazai just had a wonderful day!
He had a terrible depressive episode, his friend died, he had a mental breakdown, and he had to stare at gut-wrenching gore.
But now he's gonna burn himself.
And what's Chuuya gonna do with that information once he finds out Dazai tried to kill himself again?

Being someone's reason to keep living sounded romantic until Chuuya realized he had slowly forgotten how to live for himself. But when a late-night argument exposes the fragile balance holding their relationship together, both of them are forced to confront truths neither of them wanted to acknowledge.
He looked at the man he loved, looking so fragile that it felt like one more sentence from Chuuya would completely break Dazai apart. Chuuya shut his eyes tightly for a second, holding back his own tears before they could fall. His clenched hands at his sides had started trembling. The guilt was torturing him, but his exhaustion was far greater. If he took his words back now, they would only fall into the same endless cycle again. This relationship had to die tonight. Chuuya opened his eyes again, looking at Dazai with a softer gaze filled with complete resignation.
“We’re—”
A heavy hesitation choked his throat. Everything in him screamed to stop, to leave the sentence unfinished, but he knew he had to say it. The crushing weight of his exhaustion wouldn't let him back down this time.
"—We’re done, Dazai.” Chuuya finally said that.
