Jason—who’d clawed his way out of a grave, who’d held a gun to Bruce’s head, who’d chosen retribution over everything else for years—had a nest in the manor. Had three alphas circling him like he was something precious. Which he was, Dick supposed, though the word felt strange paired with someone who still kept a kris knife under his pillow and startled awake ready to kill.

Summary
Dick Grayson has a mean streak a mile wide, though most people don't know it. As he's gotten older, he's learned to suppress that particular side of him, to the point where younger pack members such as Tim and Damian, are wholly and blissfully unaware of the danger that lurks within the seemingly guileless alpha.
But Jason and Bruce remember. The early days of Jason's career as Robin were fraught with altercations between himself and Dick, not to mention the screaming matches he and Bruce called 'arguments' that they had every time Dick swung by. The alpha may be good at hiding it, but that part of himself has never gone away, and if he gets pushed too far, they shudder to think what could happen.
