Summary
It’s peaceful. It’s nothing like the first time he died.
He’s not in pain anymore. He isn’t listening to the Joker laughing like a madman.
He isn’t whispering Bruce’s name desperately under his breath, praying that the man will get here in time. He doesn’t have to, because Bruce is here with him. He’s here, holding him tightly against his chest and murmuring in his ear that he’s not letting him go again, that he’s going to be okay, that everything is going to be okay.
Jason weakly looks at his brothers for one last time and then curls closer to his father.
Bruce’s gentle voice is the last thing he hears as he takes a shuddering breath in, lets it out and– and…
(or, a universe, where Jason Todd dies again and it destroys Bruce Wayne.)

Summary
This man could probably even beat up Steph's dad, he's so big.
“Hi,” he says, surprised.
“Hi,” Steph whispers.
“I'm Jason,” he says as he crouches down. “It's nice to meet you.”
“I'm Steph,” Steph replies quietly. She doesn't want the others to hear her. “Why do them guys talk so fancy?”
Jason laughs.
“They just grew up different from where we did, Blondie.”
Steph glances over at the other three again.
The man in the blue shirt waves at her and Steph turns and grabs hold of Jason's arm. “I don't like ‘em,” she decides. “I wanna go home.”***
Five-year-old Stephanie Brown is having a great time with her new friend Jason. Meanwhile Jason Todd finds himself becoming a single dad to a de-aged version of his eighteen-year-old friend/vigilante coworker.

Summary
Answer the following questions by choosing what applies to you:
1. When was the last time you told the truth? (a) you’re a lighthouse, you’re in search of one. You’re the harbour, you eat yourself up. (b) your own grave must be your own to dig. At least that way you will know where it is. (c) because it’s the story of your life, you told it. Because you told it, it changed.
Being alive, he postulates, is an herculean task. Life expects too much of him, death has the capacity for kindness. And ever so often would he catch himself thinking about being back in the coffin. Not alive. Not burdened. Not attached. Perhaps just doing what he was meant to be doing all along, all this time. Rotting away in his grave. He does wonder how different things would be for everyone else and there’s bitterness spreading from the sides of his tongue, it wouldn’t. He is still out of the picture, he is still forgotten.

Summary
Jason didn't know what he wanted, he just knew that there was a void in his heart that was begging to either be filled or shut down completely.
He wasn't loved correctly, he wasn't even sure if he was loved at all. But it was his fault anyway, he pushed and pushed until there's was too big of a gap to close. The void growing more by the day. Every reminder of how little he was wanted fed that void until it burned.
He craves and avoids affection so hard that he's destroying himself.
Or
Jason is sad and doesn't know how to fix it.
