In an alternate timeline where the destructive events of Alien Covenant did not happen (no solar emissions, no deaths, no landing on 'Paradise'), Walter has been pining for a colonist since long before landing on Origae-6, and he can no longer keep his secret affections bottled up inside.
***Permanent Hiatus : This was intended to be a 5 chapter fic, but I have long-abandoned it, unfortunately. The good news is, there really isn't a cliffhanger at the end of the final chapter, and anything going forward would have just been smut (and there is a fare bit of smut in chapter 3 so you really aren't missing out on too much).

An exercise in original character development with the added bonus of playing around with the Doctor's voice, which lives rent free in my brain and occasionally wants to take a stroll.
