Based on the game choices where Dettlaff killed Syanna and Geralt lets him go. Five years later, after Regis has been putting a lot of work on Dettlaff, invited him to a performance Dandelion and Priscilla wanted to share. Some don't know he's a vampire and thus makes everyone uneasy. Regis knows that Lambert likes Gwent and to diverge attention and tension, suggests that the two witchers play a few rounds. Leading to some interesting bonding moments.

He was cut off with the tip of an arrow pointed at his neck.
“Sasha what—” he cut himself off this time as he finally saw Sova, mind working fast enough to regret what he had already said despite the fuzziness that persisted.
The man standing above him, pointing an arrow to kill, had the wrong eyes. His scar was on his left, instead of his right. And he had the characteristic yellow-purple-red fuzzy outline that all mirror agents had, a sign that they were different. Meaning it wasn’t who he thought it was.
(Maybe, if he hadn't had a stupid concussion, he would have realized how stupid he was for thinking it was Sasha.)Of fucking course. With his luck, of course, Cypher would go through the portal with the enemy Sova instead of the one he knew. Because that's just what he needed in his life.
. . .
Or when a mission goes wrong, Cypher ends up in the woods with Sova's Mirror.
Back home, Sova and Omen work on getting their Cypher back. Even if it means trying to interrogate legion's Cypher.Series

Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.

Please allow me to withdraw my prayer, no one needs to die,” Jaskier says shakily, and even though there is fear in the bard’s heart for his own life, largely there is regret and horror that he asked for Valdo’s death.
The demigod sighs softly, going down to one knee in front of the mortal, and very gently tilting Jaskier’s face to look up at him with a gloved finger under the bard’s chin. The witcher tries to make his stern countenance a gentler one and offers the man a small but sad smile as he murmurs in his gravelly baritone, “That’s not how this works, Jaskier. I can…set aside your request, as it were, but it doesn’t just go away. A prayer made must be answered.”

Geralt moved to a small seaside town as a recently divorced empty-nester trying to start over. His new life as an alchemist and herbalist is the idyllic life he's always wanted, until suddenly it isn't. Geralt finds himself battling a mysterious potion-related illness while developing relationships with the local barber and toy shop owner, and hoping he can figure out what's wrong with him and fix it before it ruins everything: his small business, his fresh start, and whatever is happening between him and Regis and Dettlaff.
