Summary
What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.

Summary
I slowly creep my eyes open again, and try to take a look around me. It’s hard given my face is pressed into the bed I’m on. I’m laying flat out on my stomach.
I decide to try and push myself up, that’s the next step as I slowly gain more power over my body. I pull my arms up to my shoulders and push my chest away from the bed, bending and resting on all fours.
Heavy things, there’s two of them, on my back slide down due to their own weight and flood my vision on either side of me. Light and dark grey feathers surround me forming a small cocoon as my wings rest on the edge of the bed.

Summary
Ryland Grace always knew at some level that he was never meant to be in space. The fact that he was one of the roughly 10% of the population with wings was definitely a contributing factor towards that hypothesis.
