Summary
Through means of fate and some none too subtle manipulation, Hermione finds herself thrown back in time. With Harry’s parents still alive, Severus Snape loyal to Voldemort’s chaos, and answers flooding in about the peculiar behavior of those she trusted most prior to her trip through time, she finds herself in the midst of the First Wizarding War. This time however, her orderly world of right and wrong is viewed in shades of grey as she finds herself unable to resist the dark, magnetic pull of Severus despite the best efforts of time, age, warring alliances, and reason that threaten to rip them apart, setting the future she must return to on a course headed for disaster.

Ch 17 writing style is a little dramatic but an intriguing read, keep an eye on.

Summary
Seven years after the defeat of Voldemort, Hermione Granger is tired of the Ministry not taking her work seriously in the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. After being ignored one to many times, she decides to take matters in her own hands and finds an unlikely ally in none other than Lucius Malfoy.
(If you're like me when reading and sometimes get impatient with the expositional plot, 5 is when Hermione and Lucius interact. I need the plot though to make this believable when I'm writing though lol. Updates once a week!)

Chp 18 (6/13/26) Very nice! I love how the slow burn is slow burning, in the author I trust! 🙌🙌🙌 LET THEM SIMMER AN BOIL UNTIL THEY CANT TAKE IT ANY LONGER! I also need to believe they would actually get together in order to make this ship happen and the authors writing is assuring me of that. Very noice. Lucious is still a prejudiced prick, not a saint who’s gone back on his ways yet, and I LOVE that.
